TYPES OF COMPUTER

Introduction:-

           

            The grouping or categorization of computer on the basis of different attributes is known as classification of computer .Computer can be classified is many ways.

   Classically,computers can be classified on the following basis,

1. On the basis of working principle
2. On the basis of size
3. On the basis of brand
4. On the basis of model

But in many cases today these classification serves only little these days.Hence its better we stick to the classification based on the working principle.

     The classification of the computer can be best understood from the following chart.
