Introduction:-

                       We can divide the computer components into two major areas namely, hardware and software.Hardware is the machine itself and its various components. It includes all mechanical electronic and magnetic device such as monitor,printer,electronic circuit,floppy disks and hard disk.

                       Computer cannot do anything without instructions from the user.In order to do any specific job we have to give a sequence of instruction to the computer.This set of instruction is called a computer program.Software refers to the set of computer .This set of instruction computer hardware to perform any task.Software enhance the capability of computer hardware

                       Software and hardware are complementary to each other.Both have to work together to produced meaning result and also to become a functional system.

Ex:- Operating System,windows package,programming language etc.
